Foxy Mineral Makeup (closed)

Foxy Mineral Makeup is the creation of Kim Granger, a mom of 4 who was frustrated with a popular brand of mineral makeup she had been using for years. She set out to create her own, removing from it the culprit she discovered (bimuth oxychloride). The result was Foxy Mineral Makeup, a product line that among other things is great for all ages and skin types but especially those with rosacea and redness.

The site has so many different products that it's overwhelming at first. The site is so well organized, though, that you can easily find what you are looking for. The problem, though, is that while you are looking you will find so many other items that catch your eye. Kim knows this is going to happen and therefore offers customers the opportunity to purchase a sample of a product that you may be unsure of, so that on your next visit you can purchase it!

I had the opportunity to try several samples of eye shadows and foundations. This enabled me to determine exactly what shades were best for my skin, since I don't wear makeup a lot and wasn't sure where to start. Seasoned makeup pros will have no problem finding the shade that is right for them, and even some new potential favorites.

One of my favorite eyeshadow colors was Sexi Sexi, a light champagne beige shade that is great on eyelids if looking for something light to brighten up your eyes, or as a shimmer above the eyelids to compliment another color.

My favorite item, though, is Foxy Mineral Makeup Adorable Gloss! I love lipgloss and finding a shade with just a hint of pink to warm up my face without looking like a 12 year old is tricky, but Foxy Mineral Makeup got it right. The gloss goes on smooth and silky (not sticky!) and lasts. It also happens to smell pretty yummy too!
