Kidshoos (closed)

Oh what a treat I have found in this website! Kidshoos.com features shoes for babies, toddlers and youth that not only look great but are environmentally friendly and are manufactured under fair trade agreements. You can shop on the site by category (babies, youth, etc.), by style, or by brand. Right now until the end of June shipping is free in the US (Kidshoos currently does not ship to Canada but will be opening up here very soon!) Also, shipping to Canada is a flat rate of $6.00!
We were sent shoes from Kidshoos own line to review. My not-so-little guy (I have to say that because he's 5 now!) is in need of new running shoes so we picked these Cosmic Tan shoes from Kidshoos. Made with natural leather and a soft suede upper, these shoes also have a cotton lining to wick moisture away from the foot.

I liked the color combination - perfect for wearing with cargo pants (or cords in the W...ok I won't even say the name of the season, I'm enjoying summer too much!) and they look great with a pair of jeans. My son liked the velcro closure (for a 5 year old on the go, laces just take up too much time) and the fact that they are called Cosmic shoes were not missed on a little guy who's big into space right now.

The other thing this mama likes, the Cosmic Tan shoes from Kidshoos are just $23.95 US!
The Kidshoos brand has a ton of other great runners (or sneakers, hehehehe why don't us Canadians call them sneakers?) for kids. I have my eye on this pair, called Cartwheel, for my daughter, when she's a little bit bigger.
