You're Such a Space Cadet

I think a fascination with outer space comes with the territory of having a little boy. It just seems to come along with other common obsessions like dinosaurs and race cars. The problem, though, is that there's not a lot of items parents can find to help foster a curiosity about outer space.

One company that I was fortunate enough to find, Up and Away, carries Astronaut Jackets! Featuring 10 patches (because our little Astronauts undoubtedly are the best of the best), and details like a heavy space shuttle zipper pull, this jacket was met with wide eyed excitement from my 5 year old when we received it.
Available in sizes ranging from 12m all the way up to size 12, this jacket is a nice weight and perfect for Fall here in Canada. My son's comments were, "Wow it's heavy! Annnnnnd SILVER mom!" He loves it! I was going to order a size 6 but was told that a size 7 may be better and the 7 is a great fit. I would suggest ordering up 1 size. My little guy wears his jacket to school, and of course his friends think it's the coolest (we giggle as he walks to the door all proud in his fancy jacket!)
